Did You See Us at The Vermont Apple Festival?

Greater Springfield Area Habitat for Humanity was excited to be part of The 40th Annual Vermont Apple Festival & Craft Show hosted right here in Springfield, VT by the Springfield Regional Chamber of Commerce. The skies were blue, the leaves were beautiful, and fall was in the air.

We spent the day giving out samples of our Habitat Super Bean Soup, engaging with the community, and sharing about our current house rehabilitation. Many people were surprised to find out that Greater Springfield Area Habitat for Humanity is in the process of renovating our 13th house!

We're pretty proud of what we've done, too. Greater Springfield Habitat for Humanity has provided housing for a dozen families who didn't have other adequate options. In addition, we've brought our community together to rehabilitate, put together bean soup mixes, and demonstrate caring for each other.

We are about to start the real work of replacing windows, redesigning the floorplan, installing heating systems, installing kitchens and bathrooms. We need your help! If you can donate money, time or goods we would love to hear from you. Please email us at infospringfieldhabitat@vermontel.net
